Kevin’s wound-healing experiment

Our lab manager Kevin Rodriguez shot this incredible 5-hour time lapse of a Pocillopora damicornis fragment immediately after wounding. Kevin is researching the immediate, short-term processes of wound-healing in an effort to better understand the innate immune system of corals.
